The Roadhouse Doors tribute show is a complete recreation of the look, feel and sound of a live 1960’s Doors concert. The set spans the very best of the Doors repertoire with a special focus on the Jim Morrison years.

To ensure an authentic 1960’s Doors sound the band use genuine original vintage equipment. A typical Roadhouse Doors backline includes Vox Continental and Hammond Organs, Rhodes Electric Piano, and Gibson SG Guitars giving that edgy raw sound a Doors fan would expect.

The Doors wrote and released an incredible amount of top quality songs, creating one of the defining sounds of 1960’s Los Angeles and California. At the same time they had a very unique and distinct sound, and a knack for writing catchy, bluesy and sometimes psychedelic melodies, combined with the powerful, lyrical genius of Jim.

The Roadhouse Doors Show includes very best Doors songs, including the big hitters such as Roadhouse Blues, Riders On The Storm, Light My Fire, The End, Peace Frog, When The Music’s Over, Break On Through, Love Me Two Times and more. To recreate the whole 1960’s feel, the band have also assembled some pre-show nostalgic audio montages from 1960’s LA scene.

The Ded Hot Chili Peppers are four terrific showmen, who throw a tremendous amount of style and energy into a set that is comprised of all the Chilis Greatest Hits. The band take pride in their musical excellence yet it is their stage presence that truly causes them to shine.

Their bassist with his Mohican haircut and skeleton costume recreates the manic presence and of Flea. Vocally their singer also matches that unmistakable smooth Californian Red Hot tone whilst delivering  those furiously fast tongue-twisting rap tunes.

Ripping off his shirt early on in the set to reveal a lean muscular torso covered with tattoos, he is an instant hit with the ladies in the crowd. Throughout the show he hurls himself about the stage, thrashing and hollering, occasionally pausing to sway in the calm of softer Chilis numbers such as ‘Scar Tissue’.

The stand out songs of the night are the infectious ‘Aeroplane’ and ‘Suck my Kiss’ and their encores ‘Under the Bridge’ and ‘Give it Away Now’, which the singer performs standing upon a table with the crowd pumping their arms in the air around him. Coldplace are a Coldplay tribute band whose quality and experience on the tribute scene are second to none. The band have been performing since 2004 and always strive to give the audience the closest experience you could possibly get to seeing Coldplay themselves.
